First extract the milk from the left over half of the coconut.Then fillet fish and apply 11/2 tsps. salt and 1/2 tsp.

1 INGREDIENTS

* Medium pomfret 1
* Medium-sized onions (finely chopped) 2
* Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
* Salt to taste
* Oil as needed
* Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
*
* Grind:
*
* a coconut 1/2
* Tamarind pulp 1 1/2 tbsps
* Peppercorns 6
* Onion 1

2 COOKING DIRECTIONS

1. First extract the milk from the left over half of the coconut.
2. Then fillet fish and apply 1½ tsps. salt and ½ tsp.
3. turmeric powder over it.
4. Take 4 tbsps. oil and saute the fish in it. Remove.
5. Add the prepared paste and cook for 5 minutes.
6. Add the fish pieces and on low flame keep cooking the fish with the masala.
7. Then add salt and ½ tsp. red chilli powder and coconut milk.
8. Simmer till the fish is tender. Add a little water if necessary.
